Solstice: Triquetra - CD

Through its work at the U Rolanda underground theater, the Slnovrat association created the first permanent folk stage, from which the musicians toured Slovakia and the Czech Republic, performed at all major shows and stages of the former Czechoslovakia, but never got the opportunity to release their own album. And maybe it would have remained so, had it not been for one summer meeting, when part of the Solstice met to test a small private studio of his teammate Jul Kazimír. The original happening not only resulted in interesting recordings, but also it turned out that new songs are constantly being created and that even after years the desire to continue making good songs persists. Originally a one-time recording, it has turned into a precise studio work, and the result is recordings that are no longer based on the past, but consistently map the current form of the Solstice. Long-time teammates Karol Svozil (Single-Phase Fermentation), Milan Tedla (Bohdan Warchal Chamber Orchestra, Capella Istropolitana, (Dežo Ursiny) and Jozef Ciller (Lojzo), as well as younger musicians - Pavol Kazimír and Peter Michalovič Jr., collaborated on the recordings.
