Steel riveted bridges in Prague

The publication provides a comprehensive view of the history and present of Prague's riveted bridges and footbridges, some of which, such as the railway bridge under Vyšehrad or the Čechův Most bridge, are inseparable from the panorama of the capital city. The authors are lecturers from the Czech Technical University in Prague, who have long been involved in this field. For each of the bridges and footbridges - in addition to the above-mentioned bridges, there are also the Bohdalec and Císařská louka bridges and the footbridges over Smíchovské nádraží, Hostivař, Slavie and Strašnice stations - you will find a processed history from the creation through repairs to the current state, original static calculations and a rich pictorial accompaniment, both archival and contemporary.
