Stone Temple Pilots: Perdida - LP

Perdida is the eighth studio album from the American grunge rock band Stone Temple Pilots, released on CD and LP. This is the second album the band has recorded with new singer Jeff Gutt. The first single from the album is the track Fare Thee Well.

The American rock band Stone Temple Pilots was formed in California in 1989, originally under the name Mighty Joe Young. After signing with Atlantic Records, they changed their name and achieved commercial success with their debut album, Core, in 1992. The record, which cleverly reflected the emerging changes in rock at the time and capitalised on the popularity of the grunge subgenre, is one of the best-selling titles of the 1990s. The band split up in 2002, and its members became involved in other projects (e.g. Velvet Revolver and Army of Anyone). Stone Temple Pilots later attempted several comebacks. The central figure of the group until 2013 was singer Scott Weiland. Chester Bennington of Linkin Park also briefly fronted the band.
