Stormy dawn
The culmination of the post-apocalyptic trilogy Rats of the Apocalypse
A series of bad decisions and a certain amount of madness have caused the downfall of the self-proclaimed saviour. His power hangs by a thread and his options are fast running out. While Hiramoto arrives to settle the score, the ruins in the east promise Arumiel's opponents a new beginning and relative safety. However, magic has not yet had its final say. If a new god can be created and Vulpe brought back, the inhabitants of Ler might gain a little more time. But the efforts to return the original head of the Lerian pantheon may come at a higher price than the demons are willing to pay. All that remains is to pick up the pieces of a shattered world and their own lives, and hope for the best.
Reviews:
At times, the magic combined with technology meant to protect humanity, the failure of which can have fatal consequences, reminded me a little of Petra Stehlíková's The Listener. But that doesn't matter, because in the end, both are proof that Czech fantasy has a lot to offer readers. The novel Before the Storm certainly doesn't need to be ashamed when compared to world fantasy works with a similar theme.
- Děti noci on the novel Before the Storm
Rats of the Apocalypse can easily hold its own against any fantasy saga by internationally acclaimed authors.
