Strnadovi - DVD

A lot can happen during a couple's 35 years together: from moments of perfect understanding to dramatic lows. For the most part, however, partners deal with the familiar everyday worries and joys of raising children, running a household, or even a business. And this is exactly the kind of life led by Ivana and Václav Strnad, the owners of a furniture shop, whom director Helena Třeštíková has been following with her camera since 1980 as part of the 'Marriage Stories' project. Her new feature-length documentary about the Strnads follows on from the television films in this series, but above all, it shows the surprising new twists and turns that life has brought for the couple and their children.
