Stromboli: Concert Album (2015) (2x CD) - CD

The band Stromboli, who reunited on stage last December after a long sixteen years, put on a grand spectacle. Pavlíček's guitars sang, lamented, cut, groaned and soothed. Combined with the brilliant performance of the exceptional singer Bára Basiková and the fantastic performances of Klaudius Kryšpín, Vendula Kašpárková and Jiří Veselý, they captivated the ten-thousand-strong audience, who gave them a standing ovation.

This concert recording captures the atmosphere of the show with the band's best pieces, including live versions of songs from last year's new album Fiat Lux, and the masterpiece 'Ó hory, ó hory' featuring guest musicians Vilda Čok, Roman Dragoun and Guma Kulhánek.

Included as a second CD is a recording from Štvanice, Prague, from 1997, when the band reunited eight years after they broke up. The listener can even compare two different versions of some songs.
