Summer with a Gentleman - DVD

Every summer, Anna (Alena Antalová) and her husband (Igor Bareš) stay at their cottage in a settlement a few dozen kilometres outside Prague. They've been married for an eternity, and as often happens, their marriage has fallen into a routine.
For a long time now, her husband has been dividing his time fairly between playing cards with his friends at the pub and building model ships in bottles out of matchsticks; his wife is practically invisible to him. Anna brightens up her summer for a few days each year with regular get-togethers with her friends and work colleagues, who come to visit her in picturesque central Bohemia for cycling trips around Kamýk Castle.

One day, Artur (Jaromír Hanzlík) appears in the village. He is an elegant, charming gentleman who, as everyone assumes, is the new owner of the local château. Although the château is more of a dilapidated ruin, its new lord has big plans for it. A spark ignites between Artur and Anna. Anna starts to experience feelings she hasn't felt for a long time. Artur is gallant and showers her with attention, and Anna finds herself escaping her reality more and more often for romantic trips and adventures with him.
