Tad: 8-Way Santa DLX

LP Record In 1991, after countless miles on tour for the "God's Balls" album and a string of high-energy singles and EPs, TAD released their second album, "8-Way Santa". Recorded at Smart Studios in Madison, Wisconsin with Butch Vig, whose work with Killdozer the band loved, "8-Way Santa" saw TAD pushing their sound in new directions. Refusing to rest on their laurels, TAD began to add melodic nuances to their sound, evident on the lead single "Jinx". The album's release was followed by extensive touring and a copyright infringement controversy over the original album cover, which had to be quickly pulled from shelves when the couple pictured on it objected.
