Taliesyn: South Amnesia - CD

A Prague band named after the semi-legendary Welsh poet and patron of wizards, Taliesin, and their debut, the successful album Jižní Amnésie. Its cornerstone is the natural songwriting talent of frontman Jan Bičovský, the attempts to echo Central European folklore by the group's other founder, Vojtěch Jindra, and the arrangement contributions of bandleader and flautist Robert Fischmann.

The poet Taliesin was discovered by the band's frontman, Jan Bičovský, who, besides music, also studies ancient languages. The album also features several guests, the most prominent of whom is undoubtedly the excellent singer Katka García. She excels in three tracks. Other guests include Sean Barry (Celtic harp) and David Landštof (percussion).
