Thank you for your interest in the Technical English A1-B1 course. The course is designed for beginners to intermediate learners and focuses on vocabulary you can use in the technical field. The course is based on contextual learning, which means that you will learn not only vocabulary words but also sentences in which you can use them. In this course you will find a total of 900 words and sentences to practice. The individual lessons are divided by topic into activities, quality, logistics, tools, dimensions and features. They contain vocabulary and example sentences to help you communicate better when solving technical problems. By completing this course, you will also be able to review your English from beginning to B1 level. How best to work with the course? Choose the lesson you want to start with. Each lesson contains six tracks. First, for each lesson, familiarize yourself with the vocabulary itself (clues 1 and 2). This is followed by a verb and an example sentence, again in both translation options (tracks 3 and 4). Then move on to full sentences (track 5 and 6). If you can translate sentences from Slovak into English (Lesson 6) in the time gap before the English translation, you have won. The words themselves will help you understand the meaning, but using mastered complete sentences will help you communicate much better. For each block: as soon as you have mastered listening from English to Slovak (lessons 1, 3, 5 - listen exercise), move on to translating from Slovak to English (lessons 2, 4, 6 - translate exercise).
