After the Day of Reckoning, the machines took over the world, and John Connor ( Christian Bale ), the destined leader of human resistance, must avert Skynet' s destructive plan to exterminate humanity.
But the future, which Connor was being prepared for, will be partially changed by that Marcus Wright ( Sam Worthington ) will appear, stranger, whose last memory is that he was among the dead. Connor must decide whether Marcus was sent from the future or saved from the past.
