It has been more than two decades since Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) prevented Judgment Day, changed the future, and rewrote the fate of the human race.
Now, a new terminator, Rev-9 (Gabriel Luna), arrives in this new present to kill Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes), who is living an ordinary life in Mexico City. The future of humanity depends on her.
Dani's protection comes from Grace (Mackenzie Davis), an enhanced soldier from the future, and Sarah Connor, who has made hunting terminators her life's purpose. And while Rev-9 mercilessly destroys everything and everyone standing in his way on the hunt for Dani, their only hope seems to be an unexpected ally – the obsolete T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger) from Sarah's past.
