The Antiquarian's Guide to Murder

Freya Lockwood is shocked to learn that Arthur Crockleford, the antiques dealer and her mentor, has died under mysterious circumstances. She has avoided her hometown for the past twenty years, but when she receives a letter from Arthur asking her to solve the case - sent just days before his death - Freya has no choice but to return to the life she left behind long ago.
Freya joins forces with her eccentric aunt Carole to form an unusual, crazy investigative duo. They immediately follow the tracks leading to an old mansion, where an event for antique enthusiasts is being held. But nothing is as it seems. Freya soon discovers that all the antiques are just cheap replicas and the other guests are dangerous secretive people. What is really going on at this estate and what role does Arthur play in it? And most importantly, can Freya and Carole uncover the truth before the killer strikes again? Time is running inexorably.
