The Beatles: Rubber Soul

LP Record It's always amazing to consider the pressure The Beatles were under when creating their most fantastic albums. They had just four weeks to release their sixth album, Rubber Soul, as it had to be in shops in time for the Christmas rush. Before that, Lennon, McCartney, Harrison, and Starr had been on tour for several months. Physical and artistic exhaustion would have been the normal consequence. Other musicians would likely have collapsed at the news of having to produce a hit album in just four weeks. This is another aspect that sets a supergroup apart from a normal band.
