A humorous novel from the world of military doctors
The Faculty of Military Medicine in Hradec Králové is the setting for a complete firework display of gags, sketches and absurd situations. We follow the main protagonist, Michal Kunc, from his enrolment and arduous studies right through to his graduation after six years. Jiří Kučera transforms the dull military environment of the seventies into a grotesque, leaving the reader with no chance to catch their breath or relax their laughter-stiffened facial muscles.
