The case of the dead editor

The road to stellar sales can be deadly.

The tales of an elderly old lady stalker and her extraordinarily savvy cat have earned Christopher Holmes a stellar career as a bestselling mystery author. Until now. Sales have been declining for some time and his new editor is severely allergic to old ladies playing private eye.

Christopher (Kit to some), on the advice of his agent, revives his forty-year-old unfashionable self, who has also recently been dumped, into the form of a sexy literary lion and heads to a writers' conference in Northern California to try to salvage his failing career. A career that's almost as dead as the body he trips over in the woods.

In a strange reprise of one of his novels, Kit finds himself trapped in an isolated cabin full of terrified women - and not a single lawman in sight. Except for "JX" Moriarity, a former cop and best-selling author. A man Kit spent a night with a long time ago... okay, maybe three. The man who wants Kit arrested for murder.

Ruthless killer, sexy ex-lover. Which one poses the greater danger? How simple, my dear Holmes!

Warning: This book contains a demolished bridge, an isolated cabin, desperate writers, guilty secrets, a rampaging killer and a really hot ex-cop, who wants to see an old lover in handcuffs - for all the wrong reasons!
