A Detective Investigation in a Forgotten Settlement
In a godforsaken cabin settlement in eastern Slovakia, two young men find a murdered woman. Her identity is a complete mystery. The case is handled by the eccentric detective David Meizner, a perpetually grumpy and unpleasant womaniser who isn't fond of people, and his beautiful and pragmatic colleague, Ema Kopecká. To uncover the killer's identity, they must navigate a web spun from long-held secrets. However, their investigation becomes complicated…
The drama, full of twists and unexpected events, is teeming with suspicious characters from both the past and present, long-forgotten sins, as well as the pain and suffering that a little girl, and later a young woman, had to endure. The plot gradually takes us to a small village beneath the Tatra Mountains, continues to the capital city, and returns to the place where the main character had an unexpected rendezvous with death.
The story, brought to life by characters of flesh and blood, is suspenseful right to the very end and will surprise you with its unexpected resolution.
