The Grudge

There' s been a murder and there are more than enough suspects.

Klára is a sensual beauty who definitely cannot complain about men' s lack of interest. However, no one has any idea what he really hides under his confident mask. One morning, she wakes up from a coma somewhere outside the city, full of pain and with a vague awareness that something terrible has happened to her. At the same time, the body of a man she knew is found at a lake near Košice. A terrifying suspicion begins to sprout inside her, which she privately confides in a friend, a young investigator from the Košice Criminal Investigation Department. Captain Meizner, now a seasoned professional and new father, and his partner Dominik Tóth are called in to the murder. To uncover the background to both crimes, they must first unravel a tangle of complex relationships whose roots go back to the student years of all the actors. There are more than enough suspects. But who among them bears the greatest share of the blame?
Barbora Bernátová comes with another brilliantly constructed crime film starring Captain Meizner.
