The Hardest Yard - DVD

Like "The Dirty Dozen", "The Hardest Yard" is a classic of the so-called "Dirty Dozen". of the anti-hero genre. Paul Crewe is a former American football player who is currently serving time in prison. Warden Hazen and Captain Knauer, the two biggest authorities in the prison, are sports fanatics and have their own football team. Crewe decides to field his own team of inmates and challenge the team of guards to a match. But the re-energized solidarity and dignity that spreads like an avalanche among the team of prisoners who were previously abandoned to their fate is not very appealing to Hazen. The remake of this famous film will soon appear in our cinemas under the title "Mean Machine" (not to be confused with the comic book). Vinnie Jones (Pack Up and Get Out, PodFuck) will play the lead role and the game will not be American football, but "classic" football.
