The House by the Lake - DVD

Can you be connected to someone you've never met?

Dr. Kate Forster (Sandra Bullock) has finally found love. Unfortunately, it's a long-distance relationship. She lives in downtown Chicago, he in a lakeside suburb. Just one small thing: Her present is the year 2006, while for him, it's 2004.

It all begins when Kate moves out of her beautiful lake house and leaves a note for the next tenant, an architect named Alex Wyler (Keanu Reeves). They start writing to each other and discover they are made for one another, but also that they are living two years apart. Is it even possible for them to meet under such circumstances? What will happen if they try?
