The Kingdom of the Pitcher
Shadows of Džbán Castle: A Secret Resistance Against the King
The year is 1310, and John of Luxembourg, husband of Elisabeth of Bohemia, arrives in the country to claim the Czech throne, which is still occupied by the incompetent and unpopular Henry of Carinthia. However, his path is unexpectedly blocked by the mighty Džbán Castle and its brave garrison. The monk Christopher and the knight Blahota of Lítožnice, who find themselves at Džbán by a twist of fate, must resist an overwhelmingly superior enemy. But who is a friend, and who is a foe? Seven centuries later, the secret of these dramatic events is uncovered by a young archaeologist, Julie, as she tries to find out what really happened at Džbán Castle back then...
