The Last Rehearsal
Sebastian Bergman seems to have finally found a worthy adversary...
The renowned police psychologist has to admit that he has never come across someone like the mastermind of the so-called TV murders. The serial killer, who goes by the name Sven Cato or Cato Sr., is not driven by a compulsive need to kill, but by a well-thought-out plan with a clear goal: to punish those involved in the current celebration of celebrities, which it considers a threat to Swedish society as a whole. He has prepared a test of general knowledge for his victims - sixty questions, at least a third of which must be answered correctly. However, it is not the intelligence quotient or the level of education that determines whether a person can appear on a reality show, so the police start to discover the cold bodies of media stars with the words "failed" and a hole in the middle of their foreheads. So Torkel's team has their fun taken care of, with many of them still dealing with personal issues that affect their working relationships. Will Sebastian and his colleagues stand up to the toughest test of his career so far?
The fifth case of a Swedish expert on criminal minds and an incorrigible womanizer. Stockholm's CSIs are confronted with a coldly calculating killer who is also changing his modus operandi.
