The last shard

Ridley Sawyer knows what it' s like to lose a piece of herself - her twin brother once disappeared without a trace. Now she travels the US, investigating unsolved cases on her podcast and trying to achieve justice for others after she failed to do so for her sister. But then a case takes her to a small town where Colter Brooks is the sheriff. And he definitely doesn' t want any podcaster to cause him any problems there. But besides the disagreements, there is also an unexpected attraction between them. And as new facts emerge in the investigation, they begin to get closer to the truth together. But every step they take forward could be their last.
