The last summer vine
When ambitious London workaholic Sarah Wells discovers she has inherited a country estate and vineyard in Tuscany from her estranged father, the last thing she wants to do is take a holiday to deal with some ruin in the middle of nowhere. But life, of course, never runs completely smoothly, and when Sarah makes a rare mistake, her bosses prescribe exactly that: an extended leave of absence.
Sarah arrives in Italy to find that she is not the sole heir to her father's estate. Due to a loophole in Italian law, she only inherits part of the Castel Sant'Angelo estate. Her father bequeathed the vineyard to his business partner, the rather grumpy Tommaso di Biasi, who has no intention of selling his share to her.
Sarah had planned to quickly sort everything out in Tuscany and return to her hectic life in London, but it's not meant to be. Under the Italian sun, with a glass of good wine and in the company of the brooding grump Tommaso standing in her way, she begins to realise that la dolce vita might not just be a theoretical concept after all…
Love grows where you least expect it…
