The Little Prince

The iconic book by French writer and pilot Antoine de Saint-Exupéry has been translated into more than 300 languages and dialects. Everyone knows her. Martina Dlabajová, a passionate collector of book editions of The Little Prince, approached historian and regional history enthusiast Petr Odehnal, who took on the task of writing the Wallachian version of The Little Prince.
Not only people from Wallachia will read it. A layman learns Wallachian, an expert multiplies his knowledge. Everyone gets a new perspective on a familiar story.
You will also learn that grapes don't chew their prey, they swallow it whole and then they can't even move and they sleep and digest it for half a year. Or who is the little prince from planet B 612, which is no bigger than a cottage.

The book is accompanied by illustrations by Roman Kudláček.

The Little Prince was converted into the Wallachian dialect at the instigation of collector Martina Dlabajová. Her collection currently numbers 270 books, including Braille and French editions from 1943.
