The Lumiere Brothers - DVD

The exceptional film Lumière! is not your traditional cinematic work. Film historians Thierry Frémaux and Bertrand Tavernier have selected and compiled 108 short films created over one hundred and twenty years ago by brothers Louis and Auguste Lumière, the inventors of the cinematograph.

The 50-second-long films have been meticulously restored for digital projection and offer an exceptionally valuable insight into the cultural and technological developments at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
