An irresistible mix of suspense and humour in a sensational Irish thriller
The most humane crime drama of all time! You can be the most ordinary person in the world... and they'll still come after you!
Paul Mulchrone is an average, unremarkable young man from Dublin, Ireland, who - partly as a result of a difficult childhood - is literally clawing his way through life from one day to the next. He doesn't have a proper job, a partner or a bright future. Just a bland face, thanks to which he earns (if you can call it that) a meagre living. The first time someone tries to kill him, it's more or less an accident. The second time, however, is the intention.
Paul suddenly finds himself on the run, and is horrified to discover that the only people who can help him are a nurse with a penchant (bordering on addiction) for crime novels and a very unconventional policeman with a penchant for violence. Together, they must solve one of the most mysterious crimes in Irish history or they will become the next victims. And very soon.
