The Rolling Stones: Undercover

LP Record For the album "Undercover", The Stones recorded ten fresh songs, reacting to how the world was developing in the MTV era of 1983. After a decade of Jagger and Richards, aka The Glimmer Twins, producing on their own, they brought in an external producer: Chris Kimsey, the sound engineer on their last three or four albums. Kimsey had also worked with Killing Joke, New Model Army, The Chieftains, The Psychedelic Furs, INXS and Duran Duran. The recording process dragged on for almost a year. Mick Jagger and Keith Richards clashed again and again. Jagger wanted to continue exploring new musical territory with The Stones. Richards, having cleaned up his act, wanted to return to the band's rock and blues roots.
