The fifth book of the popular historical cycle Knights of Vřesov
Henry of Lipá sits in the tower of the solid castle of Týřov, but if King John of Luxembourg thought that by strangling and later perhaps even beheading the hydra-headed rebellious Bohemian lords, he was wrong. The Ronovci, one of the most prominent Bohemian noble families, rose up and with them others. But is it just offended vanity and lust for power? Sure. But above all, it is about the silver from the Kutné Mountains and the direction in which its flow should go.
The king's position is shaken, and his treasury is again empty. Fortunately, there is also a second group of nobles in the kingdom, led by William the Hare of Valdek, who take the king's side and thus manage to weaken Lipý's side. But they also crave power.
