The wall of silence

When a human skeleton is found behind the basement wall of an apartment building in downtown Reykjavik, it comes as a shock to the residents of the building. It appears that a murder victim was walled up here decades ago. But who is the victim? And what crime was committed here? The Reykjavík police are at a loss because none of the missing persons match the finding. Retired detective Konráð also gets involved in the case, and his current colleagues don' t trust him much. They believe that Konráð concealed important information from them during an earlier investigation. So Konráð continues the investigation on his own. Does the ancient crime have anything to do with his own family history and the murder of his father?
