Thelma and Louise - DVD

Separate, life-bitter waitress Louise Sawyer and her friend, pliable, controlled by Thelma Dickinson, despotic husband Darryl, go on a weekend trip to the mountains, to escape the boredom of everyday life. When he stops for dinner in the evening, Thelma, excited by the feeling of freedom, gets drunk and starts flirting with the random acquaintance Harlan. When a man tries to rape her in the parking lot, Louisa appears and shoots him in an affair after a heated argument. In panic, the women decide to flee to Mexico, determined not to call the police, who would not believe them anyway.
The well-known film is not only a classic road movie, but also a remarkable account of the contemporary world, freedom and relations between men and women.
