Anna and Tomáš arrive in the Sudeten village of Kořenov to visit Anna's mother. Anna knows that the first meeting between the eccentric Tomáš and her distinctive mother will not be easy. However, she has no idea that other adventures await them. At the same time, Heinz, a descendant of a German family evicted after the war, appears in the local pub. His presence causes tension and unexpectedly opens up a long-unanswered question. Anna and Tomáš begin to unravel the forgotten story of a family from the end of the war, and in doing so, they get ever closer to their own stories, which they had until now deliberately neglected. They are looking for answers, but they only keep finding more questions. How will the story unfold, set not far from the baroque monument of Kuks, which, along with Matyáš Bernard Braun's statues and their symbolism, plays a major role in it?
