The debut album from the Irish hard rock band Thin Lizzy, released in 1971.
Thin Lizzy is an Irish hard rock band formed in Dublin in 1969. Lynott fronted the band and led them during the recording of twelve studio albums.
The band's most successful songs are "Whiskey in the Jar", "Jailbreak", and "The Boys Are Back in Town", all of which became international hits and are still played on hard rock and classic rock radio stations today.
After Lynott's death in 1986, the band went through several revivals with guitarists Scott Gorham and John Sykes; however, Sykes left the band in 2009.
