This Christmas

Rose used to love Christmas – until one year her life was turned upside down. Since then, she'd rather forget the holiday exists, and the thought of spending it with her family fills her with dread. Charlie also has his reasons for not looking forward to Christmas this year; everything about it gets on his nerves. The two have never met, but independently of each other, they get the idea of spending the holidays in a picturesque cottage in the Irish countryside, far from all the general festivities. But a little mix-up occurs, and two people who wanted to spend Christmas alone find themselves in the same place at the same time. They have no choice but to stay under one roof for a few days and somehow deal with it. Will this chance encounter help them heal old wounds and start anew? “Perfect for fans of The Holiday and Love Actually.” Claudia Carroll (Irish author)
