Till Brönner: Nightfall

LP Record Some musical constellations are so obvious that you have to wonder why they haven't happened sooner. And when they finally emerge, they feel so familiar it’s as if we've known them for decades. One such constellation is the duo of trumpeter Till Brönner and bassist Dieter Ilg. They are – however cliché the term may sound – kindred spirits in the truest sense of the word. On their very different instruments, they often want the same thing, even if they express it in very different ways, which in turn means they complement each other perfectly. You can now hear this osmosis on their first album together, Nightfall.
