Time of the wolves

For thirty years, humans have been hiding in caves beneath the surface of the dead planet Michaelin. Beyond the borders of their system lie the ruins of a former interstellar human civilisation and the Wolves—ruthless, infinitely patient machines determined to completely wipe out the remnants of humanity.

When a lone human ship strays into the system, threatening to draw the Wolves to Michaelin, colony administrator Miguel embarks on a desperate, almost suicidal mission to prevent the catastrophe. An encounter with the ship's mysterious passenger turns his world upside down.
The revealed universe is unveiled even further, and many stories from its history will be completed.
