Title XXII has not passed through anyone's mind
The novel Head XXII is one of the most important anti-war works published after the Second World War.
The author describes the main character Yossarian's futile struggle against the absurd military machine, making copious use of black humour and constantly balancing between comedy and horror. The title of the audiobook refers to a military regulation that discharges soldiers with a certain number of airstrikes, but it also mandates that a soldier must obey his superior at all times, and colonels continually increase the number of airstrikes. A successful film was made based on the novel.
