Tobias Szidi: Sedmoláska (2x CD) - CD

This new double album from the current star of Slovak chanson, Szidi Tobias, is her seventh album to date. It is a selection from the entire career and work of this great and unmistakable singer and actress, recorded by her current touring band, consisting of Szidi Tobias (vocals), Milan Vyskočáni (acoustic guitar, piano), Marcel Buntaj (percussion), Martin Gašpar (double bass), Andrej Gal (cello), Richard Šimurka (tenor saxophone, flutes), and Viliam Majer (accordion).

It was recorded at Martin Čema's Cobrasound studio. The singer says: “I have an excellent band, and we recorded the CD in the studio in two days, with only two days of rehearsals beforehand. We originally wanted to have live recordings from concerts on the CD, but somehow it didn't work out. However, we managed to play the songs in a way that will hopefully make you feel as if you were at a concert.” The album also includes her biggest hits and beautiful melodies, such as Tak málo lásky, Tvrdohlavá, Idylka, and Nech sa deje, which were written for the singer by Milan Vyskočáni, with heart-touching lyrics provided by Petr Lipovský. The mixing and mastering were handled by sound engineer Martin Čema.
