Today for the Last Time - DVD

The story of five men, a seemingly cheerful company from a cosy wine bar, run by the unscrupulous and coldly calculating winemaker Kroc. These are people from different social classes and professional backgrounds - Ing. Danda is the chief technologist of a large engineering plant, Mašek is an excellent concert violinist, Rendl is an impostor, Zemanek is a barber and Taupe is a human wreck of a former factory worker. The film's story catches them in that imperceptible and dangerous moment when a few drinks on a high roll into an avalanche of unbridled drinking that sweeps each of them away, degrading them socially and humanly. The terrible decline does not only affect the "heroes" of the story, it also negatively affects their families, their loved ones, who no longer have the strength to keep their partners afloat.
