The Bohemian Trail is the first official border crossing of the country, forming a 1,000-kilometre route along the southern part and a 1,000-kilometre route along the northern part. How does an idea from a bunch of enthusiasts turn into a Pacific Crest Trail or Camino-style trek that makes it onto the world's largest long-distance trekking app and into the US Forbes? Why can such a journey excite thousands of people over the course of a year? And why have several dogs, a horse, a chicken, but not yet an ostrich, taken to the trail?
The audiobook contains both informative chapters, in which the individual stages are described, advice, how to prepare for the journey, what to look out for or tips on the most beautiful places, but also motivational chapters written by people, who decided to go on the Trail. They are enthusiasts who set out differently: young women, who were going the long-distance route all by themselves for the first time, moms from the Mini-Tourist Club traveling with strollers, Families, that conceived of the journey as a multi-year journey, Dog, who has walked the entire Trail with his mistress, or people of retirement age. A separate chapter is devoted to the Trail Angels, people who volunteer their free time to help pilgrims on the Trail, or perhaps a bunch from the Wheelchair Sports Club, which traverses the Trail in stages. And it is to SKV that the royalty is dedicated.
