Car mechanic Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) is struggling to support himself and his teenage daughter Tessa (Nicola Peltz) by fixing up very beat-up old bangers. He’s failing miserably, but only until one battered truck turns out to be a Transformer, and not just any Transformer – Optimus Prime.
Four years after the events that literally wiped out half of Chicago, all representatives of the alien race are blacklisted, and elite scientific minds are trying to create terrestrial Transformers that could more effectively counter similar threats. But, as we know from the past, the road to hell is often paved with good intentions, and this case will be no different.
However, Cade isn't too worried about that. Yet. As the new human partner of the most famous Transformer, he finds himself not only in the sights of the US government, but also hunted by Optimus's own kind. On top of all that, his daughter has fallen in love, which, as a father, he certainly can't approve of.

Besides Wahlberg in the lead role, the fourth Transformers film brings another major new feature – Dinobots, which are mechanical creatures that look like prehistoric lizards. Welcome to a transformed Jurassic Park.
