This is a concept album with songs about exceptional women. A woman who lived for rock'n'roll, a jazz-obsessed woman from the South, a carpenter accused of witchcraft, a star of the Wild West and others like them are the connecting element of the songs on the album.

Frank Turner is an English singer and guitarist. From 2001 to 2005 he was a member of the band Million Dead and after leaving, he began a solo career.
