Under the Green Seal

The cordoner' s daughter, Hermína, inherited her father' s keen eyes and judgment. As a barracks housekeeper in a border district, she sees up close the small and large failings of people from the border mountains: from smuggling goods and tax fraud to arson and murder. At the same time, he follows the successes and failures of the men from the financial guard. They change, sometimes very quickly, but the barracks housekeeper remains. And when life comes to an end, another will take its place: like Zefi or Erzi. A fixed point in the life of finance, loyal, but definitely not stupid.
