After his wife is killed during a brutal mugging that leaves him paralysed, Grey Trace is approached by a billionaire inventor with an experimental cure that will upgrade his body.
An artificial intelligence implant called STEM not only allows Grey to walk and move his arms again, but also gives him a range of new, previously unimaginable abilities – including the power to track down those responsible for the attack and avenge his wife's death.
