Vaclavek Vladimir: Ingwe - CD

Vladimír Václavek, together with other excellent musicians, composes and plays free music, internally unbound by form, creating a new musical shape.

The meditative soundscapes of musical minimalism are characterised by the frequent repetition of a simple motif, which at times creates a robust sonic vault of moods untethered to time or space. Václavek often calmly recites or whispers the lyrics of his favourite authors; the melodic motifs of the vocal line are built on just a few notes, but the tension arises precisely within this confined space.
