This book tells fairy tales from the lives of bogeys and bugbears in a kind and cheerful way. You will learn a lot about their joys, but also the troubles they have with us humans.
You will meet the peculiar characters who personally lived in Bugbearville and Bogeyton. The innkeeper Alois Strach, the gamekeeper Moldánek, the shoemaker Bolístko, the fish warden Bebíčko, and the ghost of the Křivoklát forests, Dyma, will tell you strange stories and spooky tales about all sorts of spectres, bogeys, and other supernatural beings.
The stories follow the legacy of classic Czech fairy tales, where the story and children's imagination are paramount, and the emphasis is on justice, the punishment of evil, and learning a lesson. The stories are created and written so that not only children but also their parents will find pleasure in them. Thus, the well-known saying applies: “Suitable for all listeners regardless of age.” Be inspired by the fairy-tale world of children, their heroes, and fantasies, and enjoy moments together. So, may you have a wonderfully spooky time, from the folks of Bugbearville and Bogeyton.

All this in a truly excellent performance by the best actors in the field: (J. Somr, J. Lábus, O. Jirák, I. Šmoldas, P. Liška), complemented by an unusual, cinematic audio track (sound effects, special effects, atmospheres, and moods) that creates a truly authentic bogey-like atmosphere.
