Various: Jaroslav Šimíček - Putování země Ra - CD

The album by jazz double bassist Jaromír Šimíček is his original author' s album, on which he presents himself exclusively as a composer.
He entrusted a cycle of children' s songs for flute and piano based on simple singing, joy of playing and evoking children' s play to flutist David Fárek and pianist Jakub Dvořáček.

The second part of the album, the wind quintet The Wandering of the Ra Land, which gave the whole album its name, was recorded by the Belfiato Quintet. The five parts of this cycle are again based on the principle of the game, which, like improvisation, enhances musical creativity and spontaneity, the joy of rhythm and captivating harmony.

Of course, the album is not only intended for children, but for all listeners who want to enjoy the joy of combining classical music, children' s singing and jazz.
