Various: Wild West - Country Album - LP

Country music is perennially popular. To this day, it is one of the most popular genres ever. It all started in the USA in the early 20th century.
European immigrants, especially from Ireland and England, blended elements of their folk music with blues influences. The texts are direct and often refer to American living conditions, describe personal experiences, comment on current events and are often humorous.
The American radio show Grand Ole Opry is considered the cradle of the genre. Since 1925, the radio show has broadcast weekly country music concerts from Nashville to this day, making it one of the longest-running programs in radio history. During this long period, many artists became icons of the scene. On this compilation, some really big names came together with their evergreens.
