Vích Michal: Nakoso - CD

“When creating the CD NAKOSO, I was inspired by the German psychiatrist and art historian Hans Prinzhorn, who treated his patients with art therapy (at the beginning of the 20th century). Prinzhorn is considered the founder of the 'Art Brut' artistic movement. He collected more than 5,000 drawings, paintings and texts by patients, which, after his death (1933), were stored in the attic of the University of Heidelberg. In 1937, a part of it was misused by the Nazis for the 'Degenerate Art' ('Entartete Kunst') exhibition. The collection was rediscovered in the 1950s. In 2009, a part of it was exhibited at the House at the Stone Bell gallery.” - Michal Vích
