Welcome to hell

Fourteen short stories across a broad spectrum of genres – from hellish dark fantasy through gritty post-apocalyptic and distant future tales to pure historical stories, and even one fairy tale!

Popular fantasy author Roman Bureš presents a selection of his work, opening gateways to several fantastical worlds and serving us hell in a number of different ways.

What happens when people commit such evil that the barrier between the world of humans and the realm of hell is breached? How do you stop a hungry giant who threatens to devour an entire kingdom? Will human society collapse like a house of cards when it knows the date of its demise? Can a young girl stand up to her fate in the slum of a post-apocalyptic megacity? And what does a sinner experience when he finds himself in hell without knowing what he did to deserve it?
